Description
The Department of Transportation (DOT) Transportation Administration Service Center (TASC), plans to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) to support its drug-and-alcohol-free workplace program. The procurement will be full and open competition. The applicable NAICS code is 62199. Award of a firm-fixed-priced contract (commencing October 1, 2003) with a base and four option years is anticipated. Release of the formal solicitation is planned for mid April, 2003. The formal solicitations will be distributed electronically via the Government’s electronic posting Web site at http://www.eps.gov (reference solicitation DTOS59-04-R-00002 under the Department of Transportation, Transportation Administration Service Center (TASC). THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT DISTRIBUTE HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION; DISTRIBUTION WILL ONLY BE DONE VIA THE AFOREMENTIONED METHOD SO FIRMS SHOULD NOT RESPOND TO THIS NOTICE BY REQUESTING TO BE PLACED ON A SOLICITATION MAILING LIST. It is anticipated the solicitation and related documents will be provided in Microsoft Word format. The solicitation will have instructions for providing questions and comments. All subsequent solicitation documents (e.g., amendments to the RFP and responses to questions) will be disseminated to offerors via the same method (FEDBIZOPPS). ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The Department of Transportation (DOT) Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
