Description

RESUBMITTAL FOR CLARIFICATION --CMS is responsible for the oversight of facilities that participate in the Medicare/Medicaid programs. Consistent with this responsibility, CMS is seeking a contractor that shall be responsible for providing expert mental health consultants to survey psychiatric hospitals; the day-to-day analytical/logistical support of scheduling surveys of psychiatric hospitals; compiling data from these surveys;and then analyzing the data over time to identify trends in survey performance, provider performance, etc. The contractor shall also be responsible for developing position papers identifying to CMS areas where surveyor/provider performance can be improved. CMS is anticipating letting a 5-year incrementally funded Small Business Set Aside Contract on or about July 31, 2003. Parties interested in responding to this solicitation must respond within ten (10) days from the date of this notice. CMS anticipates awarding a contract on this initiative prior to September 30, 2003.
