Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service invites proposals on a Phase I Archaeological Identification Survey for a proposed headquarters building, maintenance compound, and associated features at the Ohio River Islands National Wildlife Refuge in Williamstown, West Virginia. The contractor shall use a systematic, interdisciplinary approach to conducting the study. Expertise in the disciplines of archaeology, geomorphology, paleoecology, and other disciplines is required. The survey shall adhere to the West Virginia Division of Culture and History "Guidelines for Phase I Surveys, Phase II Testing, Phase III Mitigation and Cultural Resource Reports;" however, techniques and methods shall reflect the state of current professional knowledge and development in the wider Northeast. This procurement is unrestricted and is open to any size qualified firm which is determined responsible and responsive. NAICS code is 541720; business size is $6M. Issue date of the solicitation documents is on/about July 28, 2003.
