- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quotation and shall be designated Solicitation Number DACW61-03-T-0077. The solicitation is expected to be available for viewing and downloadin g by potential contractors on or about 11-JULY-2003 at the following website: https://ebs.nap.usace.army.mil. Solicitation documents will only be furnished on the website; hard copies will NOT be available. Any prospective bidder interested in bidding on t his Solicitation must register to be placed on the plan-holders list. If you are not registered, the United States Government will not be responsible for providing you with notifications of any changes to this Solicitation. CLOSING DATE: Prospective contractors must submit a responsive proposal, together with a completed form of th e Offeror Representations and Certification Commercial Items as set forth in FAR 52.212-3, not later than Friday, 18 July 2003 at 1600 hours (EDST). Proposals may be submitted via U.S. mail to the attention of Lew Ayers at the address indicated in Block 9 on the SF 1449. INTENT: It is the intention of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, to solicit proposals from potential Contractors for dismantle, overhaul, and rebuild of 93 each American Bosch Fuel Injector Nozzles, 15MM WAKK242T 4342 ; 21 each Bryce Fuel Injector Nozzles, 15mm # NTDOB242H0393; 13 each Haynes Bendix Fuel Injection Nozzles, 15MM # AKK242T 5700Repairs shall include all new parts including tips and units shall be POP tested twice before final packaging and markings as requ ired. These parts are to be used aboard the Army Corps of Engineers Dredge McFARLAND. The Technical Point of Contact is Richard Burns; he can be reached at (215) 365-5095. EVALUATION FACTORS: The Government intends to award a firm fixed priced order (contr act) from the solicitation to the responsible prospective Contractor whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. Applicable FAR Provisions: The following Federal Acquisition Regulation provisions and clauses appl y to this acquisition: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors; 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial items; 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes o r Executive Orders-Commercial Items; 52.247-34 F.O.B. Destination; 52.222-35 Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; and 52.222-37 Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era. In addition, as re quired by DFAR 252.204-7004, prospective contractors must be listed in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 333618 and the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this acquisition is 2815, with a size standard of 1,000 employees.
