Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: F2J21231210200 The 55th Contracting Squadron, Offutt AFB, NE intends to award a sole source purchase order to a Liebert authorized dealer for the removal and replacement of an existing Liebert Environmental Control System with Liebert 3 Phase Deluxe System 3 Environmental Control System and the partial replacement of TATE brand raised flooring. The replacement system consist mainly of (2ea) Liebert Model FH529C-CAEG, 208 Volts, 60Hz, 3 Phase Deluxe System/3 Environmental Control Units, 15 ton; (2ea) Dri Steam stand alone humidifiers; (1ea) Liebert FH302C-CAEG, 208V, 60Hz, 3 Phase Deluxe System 3 Environmental Control System, 15 ton; (2ea) Liebert Model FS4222C-AAEG, 4650 V, 3 Phase Deluxe System/3 Environmental Control Systems, 22 ton chilled H2O system. Replacements consist of all associated mechanical, and electrical work. Replacement system is compatible with current Site Scan 2000 System programming. Installation includes 1 year parts warranty, factory supervised warranty inspection and basic operator training, warranty inspection start-up. Replacement of flooring requires the replacement of approximately 248 tiles, manufactured by Tate Raised Flooring Systems. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 25 July 03. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The closing date for this Synopsis is 22 July 2003 at 12:00 PM Local Standard Time.
