- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Provide and deliver Capture Development System (ScanSoft). Delivery shall be at Fort Belvoir, VA 22060-5815. Quotations are due July 30, 2003, POC Ellen B. Harden, Contract Specialist, 703-806-4442, e-mail Ellen_B_Harden@belvoir.army.mil. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. Solicitation number DABJ03-03-T-0108 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 20 01-14. The NAICS code is 334119 and small business size standard is 1,000 employees. Any supplies and services to be furnished under this requirement shall be executed by the issuance of a purchase order. Payment shall be made by submission of an invoice t o the address cited in the SF 1449 in block 18a. This is a one-time fixed price purchase to be delivered not later than August 15, 2003 with five (5) line items: Item 0001, Capture Development System 12.0 which includes Professional OCR Kit + Professional Toolbox, VB and C calls for OCR integration with PDF Output Module and VB tools for image viewer and text editor creation-114 languages. Additional Developer Licenses, quantity 1 each; Item 0002, Asian OCR Module which includes C calls for Japanese, Simpli fied Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Korean. Additional Developer licenses, quantity 1 each; Item 0003, Combined Run Licenses for Capture Development System 12.0 (114 languages) + Asian OCR (C,J less than K), quantity 630 each; Item 0004, ICR Run Time Lic ense, quantity 5 each and; Item 0005, Support, unlimited phone and e-mail support, software updates and bug fixes (does not include upgrades i.e. 13.x or runtimes) Monday through Friday from 8:30 am ?????? 5:30 pm ,quantity 1 each. A submitted proposal in response to this requirement shall consist of unit price, extended price and delivery date. Provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items applies. Provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items applies with paragraph (a) comp leted as follows; The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: low bid and the ability to meet the required delivery date.
