- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR part 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation F2MAB031700400 is a Request for Quote. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through the issue date of the solicitation. NAICS Code 334111. Performance Period: 30 days ARO. DESCRIPTION of ITEM and SERVICE REQURIED: The VX4 is a full-screen, color, Windows® based computer with an Intel® Pentium or Celeron class processor. The VX4 has the power to support multiple applications, including those accessed through a web browser, for improved information flow across the supply chain. The VX4 supports a wide variety of radios for high-speed wireless communications. The VX4 computer is designed to operate in the harshest environments including extended temperature ranges (-13 F to 158 F). It’s high impact black polycarbonate/ABS plastics and aluminum casting ensures rugged reliability. The VX4 comes with a full sized high-bright SVGA color, touch screen display for enhanced viewing and simplified data entry. The LXE rugged Qwerty keyboard has large, ruggedized, backlit keys for increased visibility and gloved hand operation. Includes one-year warranty on all LXE equipment.
