Description
The United States Coast Guard has an emergency requirement for 2040-01-304-6448 Metal Marine Door, Quantity 20 each. Mfg. Name: Eacco Marine Equipment Co., Part Number BM21-2LH. Description: Quick acting marine watertight door and frame assembly with 6 dogging arms that extend from inside panel hand wheel to strike plate assemblies located at each corner and each side of the door frame. Door has handwheels on both inside and outside door panel. Door panel and frame are made of grade 5086 aluminum. Other aluminum hardware (I.E. dog guide assembly, shaft log etc.) are grade 6061. All steel hardware (I.E. hand wheel, shaft, bolts/nuts) to be grade 316 stainless steel. Door has a non opening (fixed) port light of approximately 9? glass area. Glass to be ?? thick heat treated. Pull handle of ?? diameter aluminum round bar to be located on the outside door panel at the upper non hinged side welded to the panel with ?? x 1-1/2? square backing plates. Door overall clear opening height shall be 54? x 26? width. Gasket material shall be 25 durometer rubber. Door is to be watertight tested and certified. Door is left hand configured and has three (3) hinges. It is the Government?s belief that only Eacco Marine Equipment Co., the Original Equipment Manufacturer, or their authorized distributors, have the capability to manufacture and supply these Pumps. NO EQUAL OR ALTERNATE PART NUMBERS SHALL BE ACCEPTED. Required delivery date is September 30, 2003. FOB Destination delivery to USCG ELC Warehouse Annex, 6751 Alexander Bell Drive, Columbia, MD 21046. Note: No Drawings or specifications are available from this agency. Substitute part number is not acceptable. Quotation shall include, proposed delivery in days, pricing for item individually packed, marked and bar coded, the company tax information number and duns number. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received shall be considered by this agency. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
