Description

Modification No. 1 to Solicitation No. RFP-NHQ-03-004-DRAFT-PWS is issued to extend the period for comments through 11:59 PM, Central Daylight Time, July 29, 2003. Comments are requested on the DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) which was originally posted herein on June 13, 2003, for an OMB Circular A-76 Study of a wide array of cartography and mapping functions including geospatial data development, access and distribution; soil survey publication and imagery support; natural resource data collection support for the National Resources Inventory program; remote sensing; GPS; and training that are currently being performed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) at is National Cartography and Geospatial Center (NCGC) in Ft. Worth, TX. Refer to the Sources Sought Notice, posted in Federal Business Opportunities on April 24, 2003, under solicitation number RFP-NHQ-03-004. This is a DRAFT PWS and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a FORMAL RFP, RFQ, or contract. The DRAFT PWS is available for download from the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov which is the official point of notification to the public. This synopsis is NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. All comments must be submitted on the Comment Form previously furnished under the original announcement. Send to abrowder@ftw.nrcs.usda.gov the Comment Form only by e-mail as an attachment. All e-mailed responses must provide the return e-mail address, mailing address, telephone number, and facsimile (fax) number in the body of the response. Telephone responses will not be accepted. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. It is also the responsibility of the respondent to monitor this site for the release of any synopsis, solicitation, or other related documents.
