Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F04700-03-T-0071. The solicitation is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-06 and Defense Acquisition Change Notice (DCN): 20020426. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC)Code is 3572. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334112 and the size standard is 1000. The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB, CA has a requirement for the following : CLIN 0001, 1 each Airborne MARS-II-L Recorder Basic Platform including the operator?s manual P/N 6374-4000; CLIN 0002, 4 each Interface Cards, 2 Channel, P/N 636294-0001 PCM/1553 boards; CLIN 0003 1 each Slide Rackmount Kit for recorder, P/N 6375-0000. These items will be used to record flight test data while the aircraft flying test missions and data will be utilized by flight test engineers to analyze the flight test data recorded during the flight of F-16 aircraft. These units must be completely for, fit, and function interchangeable with the same existing components previously purchased and in use on these aircraft. They must be fully compatible with specific model numbers. No substitutes or equal will be accepted on this contract action. Edwards AFB, CA intends to procure this equipment from Sypris Data Systems, Inc. unless other offerors can provide the specific requirements with better terms and conditions. CONTRACTORS MUST COMPLY WITH DFARS 252.204-7004, REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (MAR 2001). The following provisions and clauses apply: 52.252-2, Clauses Incorporated by Reference. This contract incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. Upon request, the contracting officer will make their full text available.
