Description

NA The U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), AZ intends to negotiate and award a contract with Progressive Peripherals SFTWR , Doing Business As (DBA) Aspen Systems Inc., 3900 Youngfield Street,Wheat Ridge, Co 80033-3865 on an other than full and open compe tition basis. The 4DWX Linux Cluster system will include the libraries for the inter-node communications software and the Message Passing Interface software. The original system was designed and developed by Aspen Systems Inc. under a competitive contrac t for Dugway Proving Ground. This system customized and incorpated into all other 4DWX ranges and compatible with existing software on site which must be compatible with the form, fit and function of the National Center Atmospheric Research (NCAR) center f or the exchange of data. Cold Region Test Center ranges must be compatible with the other 4DWX ranges with the same form, fit and function to maximize exchange of critical test data All data relative to the system is proprietary to Aspen Systems Inc. In terested parties may submit technical literature showing their capability of meeting the Government??????s requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See Note 22
