Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice for a contractor to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation and supervision to perform construction of a new Maintenance Storage Facility at the James A. Garfield National Historic Site in Mentor, Ohio. The work of this project consists of general construction of an unheated 22' x 30' wood-framed maintenance storage building including installation of underground electric lines. Site work will include tree removal, an asphalt service drive, a detached dumpster pad and screen wall, and general site restoration and landscaping. NAICS code is 236210. The small business size standard is $28.5 million. Estimated price range of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Project performance time is 60 days after notice to proceed. This project is being solicited and awarded in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656. Accordingly, it is open to both small and large businesses. The solicitation with specifications, drawings, wage rates, etc. will be posted to the websites, http://www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about 8/01/2003. No hard copies of the solicitation package will be mailed or issued. To receive the bid package you must download it from http://ideasec.nbc.gov.
