Description
GySgt KM Mohead, Contracting Officer. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This requirement is being issued as a Request for Quote. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. This action is restricted to small business concerns and has a NAICS code of 561110 with a size standard of 5.0 million. This solicitation contains (3) CLINs with the purpose of issuing a firm fixed-price contract. The required delivery date for the below service is no later than 15 August 2003. The Marine Corps Logistics Command, Albany, Georgia, has a requirement for the following services: CLIN 0001: The contractor is required to perform services for the realignment and movement of SCMC Personnel and their equipment from building 3700 second deck, to building 3700 third deck. It is requested that these offices be moved in the following order: Office (1)-Data Management Department: 26 cubicles; 4 cubicles with peninsula desk; set of executive furniture to include: 1 desk, 1 credenza, 1 hutch, 1 conference table and 6 chairs, 1 office chair, 1 file cabinet, and 1 bookcase. Office (2)-Integration and Assessment Department: 20 cubicles; 4 cubicles with peninsula desk; 2 set of executive furniture to include: 1 desk, 1 credenza, 1 hutch, 1 conference table and 6 chairs, 1 office chair, 1 file cabinet, and 1 bookcase. Office (3)- Planning Department: 31 cubicles; 3 cubicles with peninsula desk; 3 set of executive furniture to include: 1 desk, 1 credenza, 1 hutch, 1 conference table and 6 chairs, 1 office chair, 1 file cabinet, and 1 bookcase. Office (4)- M&D Department: 75 cubicles; 9 cubicles with peninsula desk; 4 set of executive furniture to include: 1 desk, 1 credenza, 1 hutch, 1 conference table and 6 chairs, 1 office chair, 1 file cabinet, and 1 bookcase. Office (5)- Source Department: 62 cubicles; 8 cubicles with peninsula desk; 4 set of executive furniture to include: 1 desk, 1 credenza, 1 hutch, 1 conference table and 6 chairs, 1 office chair, 1 file cabinet, and 1 bookcase. Office (6): 30 cubicles; 5 set of executive furniture to include: 1 desk, 1 credenza, 1 hutch, 1 conference table and 6 chairs, 1 office chair, 1 file cabinet, and 1 bookcase. CLIN 0002: The contractor shall be responsible for moving all miscellane ous furniture including, but not limited to, the following: 20 credenzas; 100 5-drawer filing cabinets; (5) 2-drawer supply cabinets; (20) 5 drawer lateral cabinets; 175 bookcases; (20) 2-drawer lateral cabinets; 10 conference tables with chairs. CLIN 0003: Build (16) 12 x 16 panel walled areas using existing panels as directed by the government. The contractor shall also be responsible for the removal of all debris from the areas. The contractor will not be responsible for any electrical items such as computers, calculators, etc. Site visits are mandatory in order to place a bid that will be considered and may be arranged by contacting Yvette Preston or Major M. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be the best value to the Government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers and determine best value to the Government: Price and Delivery. Offerors responding to this announcement must provide the information contained in 52.212-3, Evaluation ? Commercial Items with their offer. The offeror shall also provide its Commercial and Government Entity (Cage) code, Contractor Establishment code (DUNS number) and Tax Identification Number. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register or accept the Government Master Card as a form of payment to be eligible for award. If a change occurs in this requirement, only those offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. Written, facsimile, or emailed quotes and the above required information must be received at this office on or before 31 July 2003, at 4:30 PM Eastern Standard Time.
