- Description
- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics (OPPT) of the Office of Prevention, Pesticides and Toxic Substances, is conducting a sources sought for information purposes only, to determine whether a small business capability exists to support this requirement. At this time, it is the intent of the Government to issue a full and open competitive solicitation at the close of this synopsis if no capable candidates are identified. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. Under the North American Industry Classification System Code 541690, the EPA is in search of Small Businesses to provide statistical, mathematical, field data collection, and technical analysis support and planning for OPPT programs. This capability is needed to identify long and short term program objectives, develop well formulated data collection programs, provide the means to track progress made toward meeting stated programs objectives and to conduct those statistical , technical and scientific studies that will provide for technically feasible, fiscally affordable and effective programs. The Contractor shall perform tasks, as specified by Work Assignments, in the following areas: Collection and Analysis of Data; Technical Program Support; and Physical Testing. Collection and Analysis of Data will be accomplished using Level of Effort Contracting. Technical Program Support and Physical Testing will be accomplished both as a Level of Effort Contracting and as Performance-Based Contracting only. The Contractor shall be required to perform approximately 25,000 hours of labor per Option Period. The Contractor is required to comply with all Section 508 requirements in work areas that are held to the requirements under EPA Order 2100. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice are to be mailed to: U.S. EPA, Program Contract Service Center, 1200 Pennsylvania Ave., N.W., ATTN: Ms. Sharon Hargrove, (3803R), Washington, DC 20460. Firms shall ensure responses are documented to the extent the government can determine the firms qualifications to perform this requirement. This Sources Sought Notice does not constitute a committment by the Government. The Government does not intend to award a contract based on this Sources Sought announcement or otherwise pay for any information or inquiry.
