Description
NASA/GRC is hereby soliciting information about certified HUBzone business sources for providing administrative and technical support services on an as-needed basis to the Glenn Research Center at Lewis Field for the Space Science Enterprises? Project Prometheus Program and other major Code S programs, various areas within the Code R Aerospace Technology Enterprise, and other NASA and U.S. Government Agency initiatives. Performance under all of the following task areas is anticipated. Task Areas: 1. Education and Public Outreach (E/PO) Provide technical and administrative support for new and on-going Education and Public Outreach activities, including approach formulation, implementation, and final reporting. 2. Engineering Training Provide technical engineering training courses in various technical areas to maintain and/or improve program/project workforce technical competencies. 3. Power Conversion Technical Support Provide technical expertise in support of power conversion activities, including identification of technology issues, review of designs, and support of program/project review meetings. 4. Electric Propulsion (EP) Technical Support Provide technical expertise in support of electric propulsion activities, including identification of technology issues, review of designs, and support of program/project review meetings. 5. Power Management and Distribution (PMAD) Technical Support Provide technical expertise in support of PMAD activities, including identification of technology issues, review of designs, and support of program/project review meetings. 6. Energy Storage Technical Support Provide technical expertise in support of energy storage activities, including identification of technology issues, review of designs, and support of program/project review meetings. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in FedBizOpps and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service. It is the potential offeror?s responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. Interested certified HUBzone offerors/vendors having the required specialized capabilities to meet the above requirement should submit a capability statement of ten (10) pages or less indicating the ability to perform all six task areas described herein. Responses must also include the following: name and address of firm, size of business; average annual revenue for past 3 years and number of employees; ownership; list of customers covering the past five years (highlight relevant work performed in the six task areas, contract numbers, contract type, dollar value of each procurement; and point of contact - address and phone number). Please advise if the requirement is considered to be a commercial or commercial-type product. A commercial item is defined in FAR 2.101. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. Respondents deemed fully qualified will be considered in any resultant solicitation for the requirement.
