Description
NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (CSS) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 – Acquisition of Commercial Items” and Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Standard Indu strial Classification (SIC) is 8299 and The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 311519 with a size standard of $6.0 Mil. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-14 effective 23 June 2003 & Class Deviation 2003-o0003 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs), 1998 Edition, current to DCN 20030620. It is anticipated that payment will be made by Government VISA Credit Card. Th is requirement shall consist of one (1) Contract Line Item Number (CLINs) 0001 to include the following: Two (2) consecutive five (5) day training courses for 25 students maximum for Confined Space and Structural Rope Rescue Operations. These courses must meet the requirements of NFPA 1006 Technical Level and the training requirements of OSHA 1910.146. Please provide with your cost proposal your course curriculum, number of instructors, evidence of your qualifications to provide this training to include p ast performance information on at least two previous courses similar to our requirements. The period of performance for this requirement is December 2003. This requirement is for training on-site at U.S. Army Yuma Test Center located approximately 25 mil es Southeast of Yuma, Arizona. All proposals shall be clearly marked with Solicitation Number DABK41-03-T-1003 and emailed to Linda.Renteria@yuma.army.mil no later than 3:00 PM MST, July 23, 2003. Offers that fail to furnish required representations requ ired by FAR 52.212-1 cited below or reject the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration. The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most a dvantageous to the Government based on technical acceptability, past performance and price. The following FAR Clauses and Provisions are incorporated by reference and apply to this acquisition. FAR provision 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors—Commerci al Items (Oct 2000). NOTE: In order to complete the Representation and Certifications for the following referenced provisions you must go to the Air Force Web Site at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/vffar1.htm, locate the referenced clause, copy and paste it to a Word document and complete. FAR provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications (June 2003) and DFARs 252.212-7000 Offer Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Nov 1995) apply to this acquisition.
