- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (CSS) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 âAcquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13 â Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supple mented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 8299 and The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 311519 with a size standard of $6.0 Mil. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circul ar (FAC) 2001-14 effective 23 June 2003 & Class Deviation 2003-o0003 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs), 1998 Edition, current to DCN 20030620. It is anticipated that payment will be made by Government VISA Credit Card. This trai ning requirement is for DoD certificate classes. The contract will consists of three (3) Contract Line Item Numbers. CLIN 001 Fire Officer I â six (6) students - 18-25 August 2003; Fire Officer II â seven (7) students â 20-27 October 2003 ; Fire Officer III â six students - 03-07 November 2003. CLIN 0002 Fire Instructor I â six (6) students â 22-26 September 2003; Fire Instructor II â seven (7) students â 06-10 October 2003. CLIN 0003 Fire Inspector I â six (6) students â 04-08-August; Fire Inspector II â six (6) students â 08-12 September 2003. Please provide with your cost proposal your course curriculum, number of instructors, evidence of your qualifications to provide Department of Defens e (DoD) Certification training to include past performance information on at least two previous courses similar to our requirements. Contractor must be able to provide DoD certification for DoD Firefighters, Proboard and/or IFSAC. This requirement is for training on-site at U.S. Army Yuma Test Center located approximately 25 miles Southeast of Yuma, Arizona. All proposals shall be clearly marked with Solicitation Number DABK41-03-T-1004 and emailed to Linda.Renteria@yuma.army.mil no later than 3:00 PM MS T, July 23, 2003. Offers that fail to furnish required representations required by FAR 52.212-1 cited below or reject the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration. The Government intends to award a contract to the respo nsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government based on technical acceptability, past performance and price. The following FAR Clauses and Provisions are incorporated by reference and apply to thi s acquisition. FAR provision 52.212-1 Instruction to OfferorsâCommercial Items (Oct 2000).
