Description

NA The army requires a firm-fixed price contract for Repair of Cooking Hoods at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. The work consists of providing all necessary management, supervision, plant, labor, equipment, and material to repair cooking hoods . The work will primarily include installing make-up air units, exhaust fans, R-102 fire suppression systems, fire panels, transceivers and all related wiring and ductwork to accomplish the UL-300 requirements. The NAICS code is 238210 and the size stand ard is $12 million. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000 and is subject to the availability of funds. Date and time for site visit will be set forth in the solicitation. A bid guarantee in the amount of 20% of the bid price or $3 million, whichever is less, is required. Interested parties are reminded that performance and payment bonds, equal to 100% of the contract price will be required after award of the contract. This acquisition is solicited as unrestricted. The anticipa ted solicitation issue date is 4 August 2003. A definite bid opening date has not been established. The bid opening date and time will be placed on the solicitation at the time of issue.
