Description

Z-- Request for Proposals 101813R048 for a underdrain system for the Eagle Creek NFH hatchery pollution abatement pond. The construction window will be limited to 14 calendar days as approved by the State of Oregon Department of Environmental Quality in a written variance to allow the hatchery cleaning operations to discharge directly to Eagle Creek. The scope of work will involve dewatering of the existing pollution abatement pond, sediment removal, temporary removal of the existing pond liner, site preparation and grading of pond floor, excavation for approx 1000 LF of 6-inch PVC drain line and placement of approx 800 CY of drain rock, machine bore 50 LF through existing pond dike for installation of drain outlet, replace existing pond liner and final grading. Work to commence September 1, 2003 and must be completed by September 15, 2003. BEST VALUE practices will be used for award, criteria will be experience, past performance, timeliness, and cost. Plans and specs will be electronically available on or before August 6, 2003.
