- Description
- The Naval Media Center is currently seeking sources that are capable of providing one -(1) year subscription /rental service of a medical audiovisual program entitled "ACCESS" (A Cost Conscious Educational Service System), for the Naval Medical Education and Training Command. This off-the shelf subscription service should offer approximately 500 current audiovisual tape programs (2,000 titled) on continuing medical education to various physicians, nurses, nursing assistants, and other allied healthcare professionals. It must also offer self-contained modules for nurses that will enable them to receive Continuing Education (CE) professional update requirements of the Joint Commission for Accreditation of Hospital (JCAHO) credits. The contractor shall continually add new and updates that can provide the most current medical information available in order to meet relicensing and/or recertification requirements of the navy healthcare profession. The Government specially encourages and invites all small business to submit their capabilities and qualifications. This information will be reviewed and used to determine if competitive opportunities exist. The Government will use the information obtained from this notice to understand the capabilities of the market place. No solicitation package exists at this time. No award will be made from any responses to this synopsis. All interested parties should provide, at no additional cost to the Government, a full descriptive literature demonstrating there capabilities or any catalogs brochures that delineate their firm qualifications to supply the above services. This procurement shall be achieved through a 100% small business set aside using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial Items. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 532230. Any interested sources are requested to submit a package to Naval Media Center, Production Contracting Division, Attn Rudi Murray-Johnson, 2713 Mitsher Road SW, Anacostia Annex, DC 20373. Capability packages must be received no later than 28 July 2003. See Numbered 1. All interested potential offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov)
