- Description
- NASA/KSC plans to issue a Sole-Source Request for Quote (RFQ) for an Engineering Process Groups (EPG) Workshop. The workshop must provide training using the Capability Maturity Model Integration and the IDEAL process model. The training must provide templates, working documents, action plans, and risk mitigation techniques. NASA/KSC intends to purchase the items from Integrated System Diagnostics Incorporated, Pocasset, MA, in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C.2304(d)(1)(B). This is a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Integrated System Diagnostics Incorporated is the only known responsible source that can meet the Government's specification. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 (Simplified Acquisition Procurement). This notice of intent is not a Request For Quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing by mail, fax, or email to Regina Clifton not later than 12 NOON Eastern Daylight Time on Friday, July 25, 2003. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
