Description
The project consists of removing the existing timber components (stringers, deck planks, nailer, running planks, curbs, and timber sills) from the concrete abutments, disposing of these components per State law, supplying the components for the new structure, trimming existing hardware flush with the concrete abutment, drilling holes into the concrete abutment for the new anchor bolts, installing new anchor bolts into the abutment, installing the new superstructure and components, and installing new Type 3 hazard markers at all four corners. The Contractor shall propose and install (upon approaval) a type of temporary bridge for pedestrians (contractors, landowners, Forest Service personnel) to cross the creek while the road bridge is closed. All of this work need to be accomplished within the State instream work window (July 15 to August 15, 2004). The estimated start work date is September 1, 2003. This project is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation will be posted electronically to FedBizOpps on or about August 4, 2003.
 
Place of Performance
Address: Project is located in Northeast Oregon about 23.5 miles east of Joseph toward Imnaha (about 6.5 miles before Imnaha) on the right (southeast) side of State Route 350. It is located approximately 2.0 miles east of the Little Sheep Fish Wier.
