- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) intends to negotiate a contract with the University of Iowa for the development of a fixed roadway lighting module to augment FHWA's existing Target Visibility Predictor Computer Model. The resulting model will allow for calculation of driver response to various scenes in order to analyze the visual benefits of overhead lighting systems (real or conceptual) on different roadway surfaces and geometries. Note 22 applies.
