Description

The scope of the project consists of construction of the repair of Taxiway Delta West including, but not limited to, grading, excavating, filling, furnishing and placing borrow material, PCC Pavement, asphaltic cement pavement, under-drain system/structures modifications, existing PCC pavement joint repair/reseal, surface restoration, utility relocations, and other incidental work. Remove and dispose of existing asphalt cement concrete pavement, grade the site, and dispose of excess excavated material, adjust existing utility appurtenances such as manholes, cleanouts, etc. Project magnitude is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Project work is not in a restricted area. NAICS code (237310) for this project falls under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. A subcontracting plan will be required if the award is $1,000,000 or greater in accordance with FAR Part 19.702(a) (2) and if successful offeror is not a small business in accordance with FAR Part 19.702 (b). Tentatively anticipate issuing solicitation on or about 4 Aug 2003 with a pre bid site visit following two weeks after issuance of solicitation. Bids will be due 30 calendar days after issuance of solicitation and all work to be completed within 300 calendar days after issuance of notice to proceed. Specifications and drawings along with the solicitation will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities website.
