- Description
- NA The Northern Region Contracting Center, Mission Support Division, Fort Leavenworth, KS, is seeking sources among GSA schedule contractors. The service requested is to continue technical and engineering support for Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) Integrati on and Digital Battle Staff Sustainment Trainer (DBST) support program. The contractor must be capable of designing, integrating and performing validation, verification and accreditation (VV&A) on architectures that will be the catalyst for simulations use d to train the Armys digital forces to include training them in a joint environment. All interested contractors must address all areas of their expertise listed in this requirement. The vendor must have operational experience with all elements of the Army Battle Command System. Including the Army Tactical Command Control System Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2), Army Tactical Command Control Systems i.e., Maneuver Control System (MCS), Army Field Tactical Data System (AFTDA), All Source An alysis Systems (ASAS), Air and Mobile Defense Workstation (AMDWS), Combat Service Support Control Station (CSSCS), and Embedded Battle Command (EBC). The contractor must possess the skills to construct simulations such as the Corps Battle Simulation (CBS) , Tactical Simulation (TACISM), Combat Service Support Training Simulation System (CSSTSS) Eagle, Joint Conflict Tactical System (JCATS), Brigade and Battalion Battle Simulation (BBS) and the Digital Battlestaff Sustainment Trainer (DBST). Additional skil ls are required in virtual/entity simulation systems i.e., 3 Dimensional Viewer (Stealth) Rotary wing Aircraft Simulations, Close Combat Tactical Trainer (CCTT), Modular Semi-Automated Forces (ModSAF), extended Air Defense Simulation (EADSIM), and Fires Si mulation (FIRESIM 2000) Simulation Interface Software to ABCS such as Tactical Simulation Interface Unit (TSIU), Protocol Interface Unit (PIU) Runtime Manager (RTM) Simulation Support Modules (SSM) and prototype C4I Federation Objective Models (FOM). Addit ional required expertise in Computer Network Systems for Local Area Networks and Wide Area Networks, After Action Review (AAR) Systems i.e., Archer Digital Collection AAR System (DCAARS), and Vision XXI. Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) and High L evel Architecture (HLA), prototype and training federations consisting of combinations of the above systems reengineered legacy simulations. Warfighter Simulation (WARSIM), and OneSAF Test Bed. The architectures that compose the LVC environment are a defi ned set of tools that when integrated seamlessly will give the Army the unique ability to link Combat Training Centers to home station to deployed locations with institutions providing cost effective, combined arms training in a noncontiguous venue. The Di gital Battle Staff Trainer (DBST) is a federation of simulations and stimulators that provide a seamless synthetic environment linking constructive and virtual training simulations with live training forces. DBSTs uniquely designed digital interfaces allo ws Army units to train using the Army Battle Command Systems (ABCS) found in digitally equipped army units. DBST was designed to assist commanders to train collective battle staff tasks at echelons from battalion through division. The complete requiremen ts are included in the Statement of Work (SOW) issued in the solicitation. The Federal Supply Classification (FSC) code for this project is R421, NAICS code is 541512, and SIC code is 7379. All responses will be considered and must include proof of the a bility to provide or meet the program requirements including performance information and references on the contractors abilities. The response should also provide GSA schedule, contract labor categories and rates for this service. All responses must inc lude company name, address, POC, phone number, fax number, email address, business size, taxpayer identification number, DUNS number and CAGE code. All contrac tors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration at http://www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil/ccr/scripts/index.html. All responses must be received no later than 12:00 p.m. CDT, on JULY 18, 2003. ADD SOLICITATION AVAILABILTY.
