NA These are Questions and Answers to Solicitation Number DABK41-03-T-1004, On-Site Certified Training for Fire Officer I, II, III and Fire Instructors I, II and Fire Inspectors I, II with specified schedule training dates at U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground, Yu ma, AZ. Questions/Answers. Q1. When will the bid be awarded? A1. Award will be made by the 28th of July 2003. Q2. We are able to provide IFSAC certification for everything except for Fire Officer III. a) Bid without this course? b)Sub-contract with another company to provide this sole course? A2a. Yes A2b. Yes, as long as its meets the requirements for this solicitation. Q3. Our Instructor II course normally includes Instructor III as well, is this not desired? A3. Each class is a separate class. Q4. We have found it is easier and have normally taught Inspector I & II together is this desired or two separate classes? A4. Each class is a separate class. Q5. In other courses we have opened up enrollment t outside agencies to defer cost to the host agency. (Navy region SW San Diego only 180 miles away?) Is this desired? A5. No, Not desired. Q6. Is there lodging near by course site for instructions? A6. U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground will provide no lodging. Q7. Payment is listed as Visa Impac card. Will this pay as we go or lump sum for everything? A7. Contract will be set-up for payment of both classes at the completion of the last course given. Q8. Is there a point of contact from the Fire Department that I could communicate with for technical information? A8. No, any and all questions will come through this contracting office. Q9. We have taught al l of these courses with 1 and 2 instructors the price varies, what is the desire? (with less than 15 students each 1 feel 1 instructors is more than adequate) A9. This is left up to you as long as this meets the requirements of this solicitation. Q10. Is an Instructor II or III available on-site for proctor written test? (under guidelines our Instructor cannot administrator the written test over course that they have taught) A10. No proctor, Certified instructor is needed.
