Description

NA The work of this project consists of maintenance dredging approximately 200,000 cubic yards of silt and sand from the Salem Harbor Federal Navigation Channel and Anchorage Basin. The work will provide a 32 foot deep entrance channel, a 10 foot deep south River channel and an 8 foot deep Channel and Anchorage Basin. The dredge material shall be removed using a mechanical dredge and scows. All material dredged from the Harbor shall be disposed of at the Massachusetts Bay Disposal Site (MBDS) approximately 19 nautical miles from the projec. The estimated cost of this work is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. Work shall be completed within 120 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Prospective Bidders, subcontractors and plan rooms are r equired to self-register their firm or office on the Internet at http://www.nae.usace.army.mil under the Active Solicitations link. Registration instructions and the media by which the solicitation will be issued are available at this site and includes vi ewer downloads. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the New England District. Applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 237990 with a size standard of $17,020,000.00. This solicitation is issued on an unrestricted ba sis.
