Description

SOLICITATION NOTICE, THIS SOLICITATION IS CLASSIFIED AS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to clean & sanitize HVAC duct systems, including the related equipment surfaces in contact with the air, at various buildings at the Naval Air Station, Meridian, Ms. The proposed contract will be an indefinite delivery (IDQ) type contract with a base year and 2 possible options. The SIC Code is 7349. The size standard is $6,000,000.00. NAICS code is 561790. The Government intends on issuing the solicitation through the use of the Internet only. All prospective bidders and plan rooms must register on the web-site. The entire solicitation will be available for viewing and downloading at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. The download time may be excessive. The official plan holder's list will be maintained and can be printed from the web-site. Amendments will be posted on the web-site for downloading. This will normally be the only method of distributing amendments; therefore, IT IS THE BIDDER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB-SITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION. Technical Inquiries must be submitted in writing 15 days before Proposals are Due, or faxed to (601) 679-2147, Attn: Lisa Harris. All bids submitted by responsible sources shall be considered. The projected date for issuance of solicitation documents is 11 Aug 2003. The estimated date for bid opening is 10 Sept 2003. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $500,000. The period of contract performance is 365 calendar days with 2 possible options.
