Description

Pre-Invitation Notice for Sprinkler Replacement at the Frank Carlson Federal Building, 444 S.E Quincy, Topeka, Kansas. Job PCN RKS23105. Estimated Cost Range: $250,000 - $500,000. Time for Completion: 90 calendar days after receipt of Notice-to-Proceed. No document charge or deposit required. The project consist of replacing the existing dry pipe sprinkler system presently in the Level 1 parking garage area. The new piping shall be interior galvanized steel. Threaded Schedule 40 grooved piping shall be used for piping less than 3 inches in diameter. Roll-grooved Schedule 10 piping shall be used for piping 3 inches in diameter or greater. The new system should have the proper slope for system drainage and should represent a looped system in accordance with NFPA 13. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. This soliciation is open to all businesses regardless of size.
