- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard, Aircraft Repair and Supply Center (ARSC), Elizabeth City, NC, intends to acquire the overhaul of the Coast Guard C130 Anti-Skid Control Units. Overhaul will be on a required basis with the contract beginning on or about 1 January 2004. There will be a one-year base period with four one-year option periods renewable annually. This requirement is for the overhaul of anti-skid control units in accordance with Air Force Technical Order 4BA8-25-3 and 4. The resulting contract will be Firm- Fixed-Price and will be inclusive of all labor and materials except the wiring assemblies, P/Ns 42-10955 and 42-10946. Separate pricing for these parts will be required as part of the proposal. This requirement will be satisfied using commercial acquisition procedures as described in FAR Part 12. FAR provision 52.212-2 applies; evaluation factors will be price and past performance, and these factors are substantially equal. Offerors must as a minimum achieve a satisfactory evaluation for past performance in accordance with FAR Part 15.305 (2). THIS PROCURMENT WILL BE SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. The NAICS code is 336413 and the size standard is 1000 employees. The units will be overhauled and then shipped back to the USCG, Aircraft Repair and Supply Center, Elizabeth City, NC. 27909-5001 or other Coast Guard operating activity as authorized by the Contracting Officer. The Coast Guard does not own, nor can it provide, specifications, drawings, or data for the overhaul of these items. Desired delivery date is 30 days after receipt at the contractor?s facility. Required delivery date is 45 days after receipt at contractor?s facility. FOB point is destination. Offerors must posses a current FAA or OEM certification for the overhaul of the components specified, and will be required to provide a copy of the certification with offer. A Department of Defense certification or equivalent may be submitted for review and approval by the contracting officer on a case-by-case basis. The SOLICITATION will be issued on or about 30 July 2003. Once the solicitation is issued, all responsible parties may submit an offer, which will be considered by this agency.
