Description

The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center has an established requirement for a forklift/platform lift. Lift must be transformable from a minimum 6600 lb. forklift to a minimum 2000 lb. basket lift. Basket must hold two people safely. 4-wheel drive. Rough terrain tires. Frame leveling. Standard 48? carriage. Lift height 42. 2? x 4? x 4? forks. Must be able to operate the equipment from either the basket or the cab. Cab-only operations is not acceptable. One known manufacturer and model is the JBL TF6-42. Other manufacturers and model numbers may be quoted provided the item meets the specifications. Quotes must include sufficient information to evaluate the quoted equipment. A copy of the RFQ may be obtained by written request (verbal requests will not be honored) to Cynthia Doster, Cynthia.Doster@dhs.gov, fax (912) 267-3132. Request must include company name, point of contact, phone number, fax number, and e-mail if available. Vendors are encouraged to download the RFQ (RFQ03000130) from the FedBizOps, www.eps.gov, website. Questions may be referred in writing to Cynthia Doster at the e-mail or fax number above.
