Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to identify U. S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Certified HUBZONE Small Business firms capable of providing all labor, material, equipment, transportation, and supervision required to Dredge the 47-foot Motor Life Boat (MLB) Slip at U.S. Coast Station Fairport Harbor, Grand River, OH. Base Work includes: Provide materials and services to dredge and dispose of approximately 150 CY of material from the motor lifeboat mooring slip. Disposal of material to a Contractor obtained upland disposal site suitable for non-hazardous waste. Unit Work Item 1: Provide unit cost to dredge and dispose of additional material based on a quantity of 25 CY. Unit Work Item 2: Provide an additional cost to dispose of base work quantity of 150 CY of material as hazardous waste to an upland disposal site suitable for hazardous waste. Note: Permit documents and material sampling and testing results will be included with the solicitation package. The NAICS code for this project is 237990 with a Small Business Size Standard of $17.0 million. Vendors interested in performing this requirement are invited to provide the following information to USCG CEU Cleveland no later than July 14, 2003. The information may be submitted via email to the Contract Specialist at: bjarrell@ceucleveland.uscg.mil or faxed to 216-902-6278. Responses shall include the following information: Company name, address, point of contact, phone number and email address; business size, disadvantaged, 8(a), or HUBZone status. NO TELEPHONE OR WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR SOLICITATIONS OR POSTING STATUS WILL BE ACCEPTED. When available, the resultant pre-solicitation notice and solicitation will be posted at this website. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result of responding to this Sources Sought Notice, or from Government use of any information provided. The Government reserves the right to consider a Small Business, 8(a) or any other set-aside arrangement as deemed appropriate for this procurement.
