- RFQ was previously issued under solicitation SP0100-03-Q-4192 as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Please note that the new RFQ # is SP0100-03-Q-4230 and this acquisition is now being issued on an Unrestricted basis. All other information remains the same as original pre-solicitation notice, however is repeated below for your convenience: RFQ is for the purchase of the following: 0001: Fastener Tape, Loop, Nylon, 1" Width, Camouflage Green 483, Class 1, NSN:8315-00-106-5974, Quantity: 107,681 Yds.; Item 0002: Fastener Tape, Loop, Nylon, 2" Width, Navy Black 3230, Class 1 with Velcro No. 0140 Adhesive Backing, NSN: 8315-00-960-2502, quantity: 11,430 Yds.; Item 0003: Fastener Tape, Loop, Nylon 1" Width, Navy Black 3230, Class 1, NSN: 8315-00-978-0113, Quantity: 91,289 Yds. Applicable specification is A-A-55126A dated 23 June 1999. This acquisition will be solicited on an Unrestricted basis. Inspection and Acceptance is at Destination. Six deliveries to Albany, GA, commencing 150 days after date of award are required. Numbered notes 1, 9 and 26 apply. One 100% option will be included. Prior procurement history is as follows: 0001 - 77,990 yds. @ $.14, purchased in April 2002 from YKK USA, Inc.; 0002 - 4,871 yds. @ $.89, purchased in May 2002 from Velcro USA, Inc.; 0003 - 18,238 yds. @ $.15, purchased in February 2001 from Diversified Marketing. Specifications for these items can be accessed via the ASSIST website at http://assist2.daps.dla.mil/quicksearch/. In the box entitled "Document ID," type the specification number exactly as it appears and click on "Submit". Follow the instructions on each page. Click on the most recent edition of the specification. The specification will be in Adobe Acrobat Reader. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(a)(7) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or amendments. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.mil/home after 1 AUGUST 2003. From the Gateway homepage, select "Search RFQ's" from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFQ you wish to view. You must be registered in order to download RFQs. If you are not, you will be directed to register at time of download. In order to ensure e-mail notification of RFPs, prospective vendors MUST go to the RFQ Information page and select DSCP Clothing & Textiles as the commodity center from which notices will be sent.
