Description

DESCRIPTION: All work is to be done in accordance with drawings and specifications. The scope of the work includes but is not limited to the following principle items: Provide all labor, material, plant, equipment, supplies, and coordination required for the construction of the addition of a 2000 SF second floor above the existing administrative area inside the hangar, building 2030, on Robins Air Force Base, Warner Robins, Georgia. The enclosed area will include three office spaces, classroom/training area and storage. This requirement will be solicited under full and open competition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 14, Sealed Bidding. It is our intention to award a firm fixed price contract by Invitation of Bid (IFB). The estimated date for release of solicitation for IFB will be on or about August 8, 2003 with an estimated response date of September 9, 2003. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The period of performance will be no later than 270 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220, $28.5M annual receipts. Project is subject to a statutory cost limitation of $750,000. The Official Copy of the solicitation will not be provided on compact disk (CD-ROM) or paper and can only be accessed on the website http://fedbizopps.gov. The website will contain the drawings and specifications for review. All prospective bidders are encouraged to register for each individual solicitation to be added to the electronic source list. The Government is not responsible for notifying potential offerors of changes to the solicitation. All changes, modifications and other pertinent information will be posted on the web site stated above for viewing.
