Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F04605-03-T-0010 is hereby issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This procurement is 100% set aside for small business and local movers. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-14. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 484210; size standard is set aside for a concern, including its affiliates, having average annual sales or receipts for its preceding three years not in excess of $21.5 million. March Air Reserve Base is soliciting for three contract lines for March Air Reserve Base, California. CLIN 0001, Disassemble, move & reassemble equipment cage, office equipment and furniture, CLIN 0002, Cost of shipping cartons, CLIN 0003, Cost of rental equipment. A site visit will be conducted on 29 July 03 at 0900 and all contractors are encouraged to attend. Contractors will meet at the Security Trailer located at the front gate at March Air Reserve Base, CA. Provide all personnel, vehicles, fuel, equipment, materials, and appropriate permits necessary to disassemble, move and reassemble Government identified office furniture, equipment cage and boxed office items, from building 2307 to building 1211, 1221 and trailer on March Air Reserve Base. The exact period of performance can not be identified at this time. However, contractors are asked to provide a lead-time needed to perform the requirements. This procurement will follow simplified acquisition procedures in FAR Par 12. Evaluations of quotes will be based on price. The DPAS Rating is DO-S10. Quotes shall include a complete copy of FAR clauses 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commerical Items (Oct 2000), 52-212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Jun 2003) Alternate I (Apr 2002), 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commerical Items (Feb 2002), 52.212-5, Contract Terms and conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Jun 2003) (Deviation), Applicable clauses cited in 52.212-5 are 52.219-3, 52.219-8, 52.232-33, AFRCFAR 5352.222-9100 Applicable Wage Rates (Wage determination 1994-2053 Revision 23 dated 06/03/2003 is applicable, effective 30 Jul 2003 Furniture Handler rate at $11.33 per hour or $453.20 per week apply, AFRCFAR 5352.223-9001 Health and Safety on Government Installations, AFRCFAR 5352.228-9100 Certification of Compliance with Contract Insurance Requirements. The solicitation will be released and posted to EPS approximately 25 July 03. Offerors is required to submit DUNS number, Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), and cage code when submitting offer.
