Description

NA Telephone requests will not be accepted. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is 1 August 2003. DO NOT RESPOND UNTIL SOLICITATION HAS BEEN ISSUED. Send request to edgertj@lewis.army.mil. Quoters must be registered in the Central Contracting Registration Data Base at www.ccr.gov to be considered for contract award. all facsimile requests must include a email address. The request for quotation will be issued and available for download at {http://www.lewis.army.mil/doc}. Liquid Carbon Dioxide Tank. Contractor to Deliver, install and maintain one liquid carbon dioxide (C02) Charging Station equipment with telemetry device, and CO2 Dispensing tank of adequate holding capacity for its intended use (3 ton holding capacity hist orically sufficient), complete with refrigeration unit using existing concrete slab. Pump/Motor Unit. Contractor shall Provide, Deliver and install a pump/Motor, with an optimum discharge rate for its intended use (discharge rate of 20lb. per minute had been sufficient historically). Contractor shall mount equipment adjacent to or on the e xisting concrete slab, and connect the unit to the C02 dispensing tank, including installing supply lines from pump/motor unit into the Fire Extinguisher. Liquid Carbon Dioxide. Contractor shall provide and maintain sufficient levels of Liquid Carbon Dioxide to satisfy customer demands and mission requirements. Nitrogen Cylinders. Contractor shall provide and install rental service of nitrogen cylinders with telemetry device for use in boiler plant expansion tanks at Boiler Plant. Calibration of Equipment. Contractor shall calibrate Government owned regulators and safety devices at the boiler plant. Nitrogen. Contractor shall Provide, Deliver Nitrogen Gas, Liquid, as needed to meet customer??????s needs. Special Requirements. Contractor shall respond to equipment breakdown within twenty four (24) hours after the first notification call and complete repairs to include replacement within seven (7) calendar days after initial breakdown notification. Contracto r shall maintain all installed equipment in operable and clean condition
