Description

REPAIRS TO COMMUNICATION TOWER AT THE ILLINOIS RIVER (CHAUTAUQUA) NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE LOCATED NEAR HAVANA, ILLINOIS. Work consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, superintendence, and transportation necessary to repair tower framing members; replacing the stair treads and platform decks; repairing the roof and windows; painting; and appurtenant work. This procurement is part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is NOT set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. For information purposes, the North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 237130, with a Small Business size standard of $28.5 million. The estimated magnitude of construction in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Solicitation packages will be available approximately August 7, 2003, with quotes due on or about August 27, 2003.
