Description

Solicitation N00421-03-R-0128 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The Government intends to purchase on a firm-fixed price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed contract as a sole source with AAI Corporation, Bldg. 110, Dock 110-2, York Road & Industry Lane, Hunt Valley, MD 21030-0126. This action is under the authority of FAR Part 12.6. The contract line item numbers and descriptions are: 20 each of Test Set Adapter Kits consisting of P/N: 61205-401850, X Band Coupler CU2490/APM-455; P/N: 61205-40141, Ka Band Coupler CU-2489/APM-455; P/N: 61205-40143, Adapter Plate, P/N: 61205-90030-10 MODIFIED to 43603-00414, Transit Case. AAI Corporation is the only known vendor with the capability of supplying the items to fulfill this requirement. Award is expected 31 August 2003. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, the Government will consider all proposals received by 01 August 2003. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The government will not pay for any information received.
