The original synopsis for the Navy Display Systems (NDSs), published on July 17, 2003, is hereby modified to include the following: The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) will conduct an industry briefing from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Thursday August 7, 2003, in or around the area of southeast Washington, D.C. or Northern Virginia. Seating is limited, therefore, only individuals that pre-register are guaranteed seating. Advance notification of attendance is requir ed, no later than the close of business August 4, 2003. Contact Art Peterson, by e-mail at PetersonAG@navsea.navy.mil, by telephone at (202) 781-2961, or by facsimile at (202) 781-4773, providing the following information: company name and address; name, e-mail address, telephone number, and facsimile number for each attendee. Prior to the industry briefing, NAVSEA will issue a draft RFP, which will be available for download at http://www.eps.gov and http://www.neco.navy.mil. Questions concerning this planned NDS procurement should be sent via e-mail to Art Peterson at PetersonAG@navsea.navy.mil no later than August 4, 2003. Questions received by August 4, 2003 will be answered at the briefing. Prospective offerors not attending the briefing may submit questions. The presented materials will be available in a future amendment for those individuals unable to attend the ind ustry briefing. The cutoff date for registration is August 4, 2003.*****
