Description
The Naval Media Center is currently seeking sources that are capable of providing one -(1) year subscription to a twelve (12) month issue of the audiovisual production series entitled "Pulse/Emergency Medical Update". The tapes shall be used to supplement classroom lectures, individual reviews, and provoke group discussion. Each monthly tape shall include part of the basic Department of Transportation Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) training curriculum and include regular reports on a mass or multiple casualty incident in which providers discuss their response what they learned from the incident. Each tape shall come with a learning objective, a quiz and a reading list created by professional EMT instructors. The tapes shall be used under the supervision of EMT training officer and/or medical director and allows EMT's to receive up to 24 contact hours of continuing education credits per year from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. These credits may be used to meet relicensing and /or recetification requirements, including Section II of the recertification requirements of the National Registry of EMT's. The tape must come with a learning objective, a quiz and a reading list created by EMT instructions. The Government specially encourages and invites all small business to submit their capabilities and qualifications. This information will be reviewed and used to determine if competitive opportunities exist. The Government will use the information obtained from this notice to understand the capabilities of the market place. No solicitation package exists at this time. No award will be made from any responses to this synopsis. All interested parties should provide, at no additional cost to the Government, a full descriptive literature demonstrating there capabilities or any catalogs brochures that delineate their firm qualifications to supply the above services. The procurement shall be achieved through a 100% small business set aside using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial Items. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 532230. Any interested sources are requested to submit a package to Naval Media Center, Production Contracting Division, Attn Rudi Murray-Johnson, 2713 Mitsher Road SW, Anacostia Annex, DC 20373. Capability packages must be received no later than 28 July 2003. See Numbered 1. All interested potential offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov)
