- Boot, Safety, Non-Sparking/10" Safety Boot; Quantity: Min: 53,255 Pr/110,948 Pr; Option I-Min: 53,222 Pr/Max: 110,880; Option II-Min: 53,186 Pr/Max: 110,805; Option III-Min: 52,237 Pr/Max;110,910 Option IV-Min:53,165 Pr/110,760. Destination: Bill & Hold/15% San Joaquin, CA. Items to be manufactured in accordance with PD-99-10. Production lead-time is 120 days after date of award. Procurement will be issued on an 50/50 unrestricted/set aside basis and will be evaluated under Best Value Procedures with the following evaluation factors; Product Demonstration Model, Experience/Past Performance, Bill & Hold, Socio Economic, Javits Wagner O' Day. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper from. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway (Gateway) at http://progate.daps.mil/home after September 8, 2003 (ESTIMATED). From the Gateway homepage, select "Search RFPs" from left-hand sidebar. Then choose the register at time of download. In order to ensure e-mail notification of "RFPs", prospective vendors MUST go to the RFP Information page and select DSCP Clothing and Textiles as the commodity center from which notices will be sent. The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as "The Berry Amendment") impose restrictions on the DOD's acquisition of foreign product and services. Generally, Clothing & Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and "specialty metals" (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
