Description

The National Park Service issued a concession prospectus on July 7, 2003 for the continuation of retail and food and beverage visitor services at Mount Rushmore National Memorial. The solicitation period is scheduled as July 7, 2003 - November 4, 2003. (See previous notice posted June 24, 2003.) On Wednesday, September 10, 2003, the National Park Service will conduct a tour of concession facilities at Mount Rushmore National Memorial. Interested parties must R.S.V.P. by COB August 20, 2003. You must R.S.V.P. in writing to the following address: National Park Service, Midwest Regional Office, Office of Concession Management, 1709 Jackson Street, Omaha, NE 68102. Attn: Ms. Tracy Simmons, Concessions Management Specialist. Mount Rushmore National Memorial is located approximately 25 miles southwest of Rapid City, South Dakota. A Site-Visit Package will be mailed out to those who R.S.V.P. by the response date shortly thereafter. The Site-Visit Package will include all information regarding the Site Visit such as directions to the park, tour start/end times, agenda, administrative issues and any other pertinent information.
