Description

The National Park Service, Golden Gate National Recreation Area is soliciting proposals on a full and open competitive basis from qualified organizations to enter into a firm fixed price contract for refuse collection and removal service in the Sequoia and Kings National Park, Three Rivers, CA. The work consists of providing all labor, equipment, and material necessary to collect and dispose of all solid waste in the Administrative area, campgrounds, and residential areas of Ash Mountain Headquarters and the Atwell Mill Central Disposal Site in Mineral King. The contract will be awarded for one base year and four one year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the government. The base year and each option period will be awarded and exercised subject to the availability of each fiscal year's funds. The National Park Service welcomes the participation of small, minority, and women owned enterprises. Solicitation number N8564040001 will be available for download at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about August 8, 2003; NO hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed (unless NPS is forced to shutdown its website by court order; in that case contact the point of contact directly via telephone to be added to the solicitation hardcopy mailing list). The NAICS Code for this project is 562111, with a size standard of $10.5 million. The date for submission of offers is September 8, 2003 unless otherwise indicated in the actual solicitation. The government intends to award a single contract to fulfill this requirement but may award multiple contracts if deemed necessary by the government.
