Description

This is a combined synopsis/sole source solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, F04626-03-Q-0026, is issued as a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 01-07 and Defense DCN 04-26. The solicitation listed here is unrestricted. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 5810 The associated Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 7373. The North American Industry Classification System is 541512 and the associated business size standard is $21 million. The items listed herein are the only products that meet the minimum needs of the government and thus constitute a BRAND NAME only requirement; no equals will be accepted. The manufacturer of all the products below is Telos Corporation. Travis AFB intents to award sole source contract to Telos Corporation for the following: 1) Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) Client Device Vehicle Mount Solution Part# 4038EJ, 20 each. Price is to include FOB Destination charges to 501 Hangar Ave. Bldg. 31 Travis AFB, CA 94535. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Item(s) shall be delivered to Travis AFB, CA no later than 30 days after receipt of order. The following provisions and or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instruction contained in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items, paragraph (a) to this provision is completed as follows - Evaluation factors: Price. DFARS 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program. DFARS 252.225-7002, Qualifying country sources as subcontractors. Vendors must be actively registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order for them to receive any contracts from the government.
