Description
The U. S. Department of Commerce, National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) proposes to negotiate on a sole source basis, under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), with Interactive Circuits & Systems, Ltd. for the purchase and installation of a custom made multichannel DaqPC data recording and playback system. The system needs to be PCI based and compatible with existing ICS 660-B PCI DAC cards with DC-60 up-converter module. Data acquisition cards need to be 14 bit PCI based and compatible with existing multi-channel LABVIEW based acquisition software using user supplied external clock and trigger signals. The data recording playback system must meet the following technical specifications: 1) 5U Rackmount PC Enclosure with Redundant power supply and hot swappable cooling fans. 2) Dual Xeon processors running at 2.4GHz. 3) 512MB RAM 4) floppy 5) DVD-R/W 6) Windows2000 O/S 7) LabVIEW based graphical user interface (with source) 8) Records digitized analog data at up to 300MB/s 9) Supports triggered mode of operation 10) Supports external clock 11) Plays back digitized samples at up to 300MB/s to recreate input analog signals, or to output user generated data 12) 10 hot swappable SCSI320 hard drives for data storage 13) Acquires up to 8 analog inputs at up to 80MHz sampling. 14 bit ADC resolution, greater than 70dB SINAD, greater than 85dB SFDR. 14) Supports up to 4 analog outputs at up to 100MHz sampling (NTIA to supply ICS660B and DC-60-M2 for this capability). 14 bit DAC resolution, greater than 65dB SINAD, greater than 67dB SFDR. Based on the market research conducted, Interactive Circuits & Systems, Ltd. is the only vendor who can meet these requirements. This synopsis is issued for information only. No competitive solicitation is planned. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether or not use of competitive procedures to fulfill this requirement would be in the Government's best interest and must address qualifications pertinent to this requirement.
