Description

The National Data Buoy Center (NDBC), Stennis Space Center, MS has a requirement for 1-1/2 inch open link chain(90 ft shots) and 1-1/4 inch open link chain(90 ft shots). All chain shall be made in accordance with NDBC Procedure 8005 Rev C dated 04/12/2002. The quantity for the 1-1/2 inch chain is 45 shots and the quantity for the 1-1/4 inch chain is 22 shots. Each shot shall be 90 ft. Delivery is 120 days ARO, FOB Destination. Country of origin and manufacturer of chain must be provided with quotation. All documentation and certifications must be delivered to and approved by NDBC seven days prior to shipment of chain. Requests for the solicitation package shall be made by fax, e-mail or mail only. Phone requests will not be accepted. The solicitation package will be available on or about August 08, 2003. Award is subject to availability of funds. This solicitation is set aside for small business. See Note 1.
