- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and no further written solicitation will be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation number is F23606-03-Q-0017. This solicitation incorporates the provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. North American Industry Code 333999, All Other Miscellaneous General Purpose Machinery Manufacturing, with a 500 employee size standard applies to this procurement. This request is for a Brand Name or Equal version of one Pneumatech nitrogen generator; technical specifications are found in the Statement of Work attached (Attachment 1). Identify with proposal the make and model of the item quoted. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible bidder whose quote, conforming to this solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government. The Government reserves the right to choose the generator and generator option for award that best fits the Government?s needs. Price is the determining factor used to evaluate quotes. Quotations shall be accompanied by a completed representations and certifications. You must be registered in Central Contractor Registration before an award can be made. Department of Labor Wage Determination number 94 ? 2307 Rev (24) is to be used during the contract (www.ceals.usace.army.mil). This project must be delivered and installed within 90 calendar days of purchase order acceptance. If additional option units are ordered, they will be delivered and installed within 90 calendar days of order receipt. The site visit for this project will be held on Tuesday, 05 Aug 2003 at 0900 Central Standard Time (CST). Attendees will need to meet at the Visitor Center at the entrance to the base. In accordance with Whiteman AFB regulations, prospective offerors need to submit the names, social security numbers, and vehicle information of attendees.
