- Description
- This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 36, Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts and an award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for an irrigation well system at Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge in Columbia, NC. Work under this RFQ includes: providing two agricultural type wells including vertical turbine pumps and gear drives. This is not a Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 237110. The size standard is $28.5 million. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The tentative RFQ issue date is on or about 08/18/03, with a 09/11/03 closing date. A firm fixed price purchase order will be issued with a performance period of 60 days from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date is 09/23/03. The RFQ documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at HTTP://FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under RFQ Number 401813Q227. Paper copies WILL NOT be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments. Note: Registration with the Fish and Wildlife Service for Electronic Commerce (EC) at the National Business Center (NBC) Web site will also be required. Prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) HTTP://WWW.CCR.GOV in order to be eligible for award. CCR registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number, which can be obtained free of charge from Dun and Bradstreet at (800) 333-0505.
