Description
The 325th Contracting Squadron at Tyndall AFB FL would like to award a purchase order pursuant to FAR 12.6 for the purchase of cable television/internet compatible cables to be replaced in 2 dorm buildings on Tyndall AFB, FL. There are 184 rooms total. Each building is 40’ x 225’. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to remove existing television cable and install new home run television/internet cables to the first floor electrical closet. All cable must have connectors attached to all ends and the minimum quality to be used is RG6. The contractor shall dispose of all debris and materials off base at no additional cost to the government. The contractor shall dispose of all debris and waste materials generated by any work under this contract on a daily basis. Signs must be displayed whenever there is work in progress. Material Safety Data Sheets must be provided to and approved by the government prior to commencement of work. Upon request, a floor plan shall be provided. There are no cable diagrams for these buildings. The solicitation will be unrestricted, under NAICS code 238210, and size standard $12M in accordance with FAR Part 19. Performance time is not to exceed 60 days but a shorter performance period is acceptable. The following provisions and clauses can be viewed through Internet access at the Air Force FAR Site, http://farsite.hill.af.mil. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (June 2003). The following clauses are incorporated by reference except as noted after clause: FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items (Jan 1999) NOTE: paragraph (a) is tailored as follows: The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Technical capability and price. The government reserves the right to evaluate and give evaluation credit for proposed features that exceed either the stated thresholds or objectives.
