- Description
- The Air Armament Center (AAC), Eglin AFB, FL plans to award a Sole Source Firm-Fixed priced contract to Major Air Carrier Support Group Inc, 10912 Nighthawk Circle, Fountain Valley Ca 92708-6025, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and 13. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 336413, with a Small Business Size Standard of 1000. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. The reference number is F333MS31990100, and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The requirement is for: 3-each F-15 Tail Stand for maintenance of the aircraft. The following specifications required for the equipment are: Tubular steel frame stand, with Grip Strut stairs and landing, and tread grip for the work deck. The sliders require “P” bumpers to protect surrounding surfaces. The stand requires safety screen approximately 19 inches high that surrounds the work platform to prevent items on the deck from being kicked overboard. Steel hand top and mid rails are required for prevention for mechanics from falling along stairs and work platform. Stand should be mobile, with 4 heavy duty polyurethane tread casters. Stand should be secured with two stabilizer screw jacks while near an aircraft tail assembly. Working deck require 2 each Air “Pigs” with multiple quick disconnect outlets. Tail Stand requires 2 each 110 volt receptables and 2 each fluorescent light fixtures. The equipment are to be delivered FOB Destination at Eglin AFB, Florida, two weeks after award of contract. NOTE: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made until funds are available to make payments under a contract. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, with no obligation to the offeror by the Government.
